Quick Fix Bodybuilding Products
I don't think that people are educated enough to take any quick fix product. People will take a pill rather than putting hard work into anything, god for bid that they should have to sweat to achieve results. Ephedra might not be the problem, it is a combination of products. When you buy sports sups, you see huge bodies to tell you that this is what you need. Do you know what is in the product? No you don't. It's called a sale of a product.

When I started training, there was no such thing of inhancements. You ate well and workout hard. Slept well and kept your goal in mind. After 25 years of training I have seen alkinds of men in trouble because of inhancements. Did you know that sunlight, and steam rooms or saunas can cause serious injuries when you are on ephedra? Probably not as this is not told to you or are you asked what you are taking perscribed or through your lockerroom doctor. The combinations are deadly. Educate yourself, you might read the label of a potatoe chip bag before you buy them to see what's in it again probably not.

Remember that the locker room doctor dosen't give a shit about you all he wants to sell is a product. Ever notice it's not the skinny guys selling it is the well overdeveloped monsters, wonder how they got so huge.
Bodybuilding & Nutritional Tips
Glucose (blood sugar) is the most important fuel for the brain and nervous system. What happens when you go on a low-carb diet and have little of this critical brain chemical available? Fortunately, the brain can run on ketones--chemicals formed from the imcomplete breakdown of fats. People who go on the Atkins-type diets--high in fat and protein and low in carbohydrates--produce plenty of ketones, which gives their breath an acetone odour. Scientists are finding that increasing blood ketones by restricting carbohydrates may help patients with Alzheimer's disease, diseases of the mitochondria and degenerative nerve diseases. For people on the Atkins diet, high blood ketones are a surefire sign that you are metabolizing fats as fuels. (Nutrition Rev, 61: 327-341, 2003)

The Surgeon General recommends that healthy adults do moderate
exercise, such as walking, at least 30 minutes every day.
Unfortunately, that won't get rid of much fat. Canadian researchers
found that people who exercise intensely lose a lot more fat than
people who do moderate intensity activity. Walking expends few
calories, does not increase metabolism much following exercise and
requires little muscle glycogen. Consequently, you will metabolize
very little fat during the day. Exercise above 65 percent of
maximum effort for an hour or more if you want to lose fat. It's
okay to break up your workout. Train intensely and you will lose
fat faster tahn you ever thought possible. (Burn Fat Fast, 2003)

Omega-3 fatty acids are important nutrients for preventing disease.
Eating foods high in omega-3 fatty acids stabilizes the heart and
prevents sudden death. The fats work by beefing up the membranes in
the heart, which protects the heart from developing abnormal
rhythms. Foods with high levels of omega-3s include salmon,
herring, mackerel and wild game, such as moose and deer. Omega-3s
also increase lean body mass in cancer patients. Studies show the
supplement causes an increased body weight and lean mass and
improved the quality of life in cancer patients. The more omega-3s
were consumed, the more effective they were. (Gut, 52: 1479-1486,
2003)
Workouts, Nutrition & Exercise
I take a creatine/glutamine peptide complex daily made by Apex Fitness. The only other supplement I take is protien powder made by EAS. Along with a good diet.

Also, if you're using a brand of protein powder, which do you use, and which brand did you find you had the best (or worst) results with?

Personally, I tend to use inexpensive whey concentrate from PVL, Bio-X, Prolab, Pro-Rated and use lots of it. I've never tried the Yates Approved ProPeptide, but I've talked to some people who've used it and said they've never had better results and gains than when they used that brand.

And I think Nitro-Tech (and pretty much everything by Muscle-Tech) is fairly decent, but overhyped and overpriced for what you're getting.

does anyone know how long creatine stays in the system? es i know we produce
it naturally, but for how long will it show up in blood tests at an elevated
level?

What else have my subsribers are asking...

I was curious to know if anyone has had much success with any of the
newest prohormones to hit the market.

A guy I deal with a lot has told me in the past that 1-test and Mag-
10 were the best ones he had, but lately he's said that Methyl-D is
the best stuff on the market right now, and he carries the Gaspari
brand of it, as well as their M-One-T.

And a side note, that there is a LOT of spam that is still being
sent to the group. Most of it is from banned members that doesn't
through. The stuff that does get through is deleted fairly quickly

Tribulus is great or a combination Tribulus and Avena Sativa is also great.
Ergo Pharm has a great product: "6 oxo" which I have heard from a lot of guys
that gets EVERYTHING back into production. Some guys have used that and reported
that it felt like they were still in puberty, Always horney and so rock hard
and swollen it hurt.

For guys that report thinning hair during the prohormones - Saw Palmento
extract. At least 160 mg a day. Of course any guy over thirty should be on Saw
Palmento or a combination for prostate health.

The best results I have had and I have heard from many people is not the Mag-10.
A combination of the Ergo Pharm 1-AD and the VPX 1-test is far better. I have
had professionals tell me that the combination was better than acvtual juice.

Side note: anyone here from Hawaii? Just moved here and could use some advise,
workout buddy or just someone to hang.

Does anyone else have any problems with vascularity? I have
no problem putting on muscle, but I can't get any of those protruding
veins that everyone else seems to "naturally" have. A friend of mine
suggested trying NO2. It honestly has helped; I can see veins through
the skin on my forearms, and also in my shoulders, but nothing like I'd
like. Am I retaining water maybe? The skin does feel a little soft in
many places. Any suggestions would help! Thanks!

Dandelion root is great. Very mild. But works like a charm. And you can take it
for a long time without taking a break. Also has a mild detox effect for the
liver. Not as effective as milk thistle.

It sounds to me like either your bodyfat is still a little high, or
that you're retaining water, although it's hard to say without
seeing you.

What are you trying to get vascular for? Do you have a contest or a
photoshoot, or just trying to look good in general. If it were for
a contest or photoshoot, I would suggest using red wine and
glycerine, but it's been SOOO long since I've done that I can't
remember the amounts or the time frame. Also, again just for
temporary purposes, a mild herbal diaretic (did I spell that right?)
might be helpful.

I am trying to get a good shoulder routine together. Right now my shoulders are
really keeping me from having the arm shape that I would like. I am looking for
a good routine or some ideas for a good routine. Right now I am going with
seated dumbell presses, lateral side raises and one-arm lateral cable raises.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Don't forget about targeting the Posterior Deltoids! Try incorporating a
machine reverse fly while; keep your elbows and shoulders in a straight line
(you probably know how to do it, anyway). This will definetly enhance the
shape of your shoulders if that is what you're looking for.
I personally like shoulder shrugs.
